Calling all budding gardeners!
Who can enter?
This is a FREE to enter competition for anyone aged 16 years or older, resident in the RG10 postcode. The front garden must be your own work, with no input from professional landscapers or gardeners. No matter how large or small we would be delighted to judge your front garden. You may have created your garden alone, or with help from your partner, your family or friends.
How to Enter & Prizes
Entries accepted until 1st June.
- First prize: £100 HHS vouchers*
- Second prize: £75 HHS vouchers*
- Third prize: £50 HHS vouchers*
*vouchers may be redeemed in farm shop & garden centre
Further prizes for highly commended features will also be awarded. Commendation may include such things as:
- Best basket or planter
- Best bed
- Best hanging basket ... etc
The entry form is at the bottom of this page or you may collect one in the Garden Centre.
What happens next?
All entries will receive an acknowledgement & entrants will be invited to collect free seed packets to help get them started.
After the 1st June, you will be contacted to arrange a date and time for judging on or around the 15th June. We hope to do the judging over 2-3 days subject to the number of entries.
Before the end of June, the winners, runners up & highly commended runners up will be invited to a prize giving at Hare Hatch Sheeplands, who will get coverage in the local press, social media and Twyford in Bloom.
Entrants accept that a photo of their front garden may be used for a pack of information to be given to Twyford in Bloom judges & that Hare Hatch Sheeplands may use an image of their garden or them receiving their prize in publicity after the event.
